Vinegar Cleaner
Vinegar is great for giving windows and mirrors (use a combination of vinegar and water and wipe with a newspaper instead of a paper towel to avoid streaks), no-wax floors, and wood paneling or cabinets an extra-clean shine.A paste of vinegar and baking soda can dissolve set red wine stains. Vinegar can even get cat or dog urine out of carpets or other cloths and, bonus, that pungent smell can keep pets away from places you don’t want them to go.

Vinegar is one of my very favorite cleaning ingredients, for several reasons!
First, it’s natural and non-toxic. I don’t have to worry about strange cleaning chemicals when I’m using vinegar to clean my house!
Second, it’s incredibly cheap to buy. You can get a gallon of vinegar at most stores for just a few dollars.
And third, it’s really versatile! You can use it to clean all kinds of things, as you’ll see at the bottom of this post.
Spray and wipe with a clean damp cloth or sponge.
For stubborn stains and grease spray and leave for 2 minutes before wiping.
Rinse food contact surfaces after use.
